People in New Potato Technologies are aware of that and they decided to make iPad foosball table so you can play foosball without a real foosball table. This stand is an upgrade to the application called the Classic Match Foosball. The foosball table is actually the stand and the playing field is actually your iPad.
The Classic Match Foosball stand you can match to your iPad 1, 2 or 3. On that stand, you will get 8 functional 2-axis control bars which you use to control the players on the iPad. I know you will want to keep track of the game and you can do that by using score beans on each end of the iPad foosball table.
If you are afraid that your iPad will lose power during play you can always plug it in because the iPad foosball table has a USB port on the bottom. The rods on the table will react to any movement you make with them, no matter how small it is and that is kind of impressive. One thing I don’t like is the fact that the rods on the stand aren’t in line with the rods on the iPad so that may confuse you (until you get used to it, of course).
So if you ever wanted to play on the iPad foosball table, now is the chance to try it. In the game, you can choose between the 1-man goalie system and the 3-men goalie system. All you need to do before playing is install the software and place the iPad on the stand. The foosball is a game able to play in 4, but in theory, because I am not sure about the space. After all, the stand is slightly bigger than the iPad 1, 2 and 3 and you have to have room for 4 people – that can be tricky. I think that 2 people (one against the other) playing the game is the perfect solution.
The application itself is free and the stand isn’t that expensive. You have to keep in mind that you can’t compare the real foosball table and the Classic Match Foosball application so don’t expect it to be as perfect as the real foosball table you have in your home. All in all, it is a good quality iPad foosball table which can offer you hours of fun.
